  • You choose the chain.

    We find the perfect fit.

    We weld the chain together to ensure a permanent or forever experience.

    There is NO CLASP.

    Of course, it is only as permanent as you want it to be. If you have to take off your piece for any reason, it is easily removed with a sharp pair of scissors. We can re-weld the piece or add a clasp at a later date.

  • Bookings can be made three ways:

    1. Click the Book Here link in the upper right hand corner of the page to book our YEG studio.

    2. Follow TSB on Instagram and go to the Linktree to select the location of your desired appointment (pop up or YEG studio)

    3. Send us an email with your appointment request.

  • Nope, not one bit. We promise! Zapping merely refers to the bright flash of light that occurs during the welding process. Despite the bright flash, you are not getting zapped. No pain, no heat but a lot of gain! You will not feel a thing.

  • Your appointment will be approximately 5-15 minutes long. We want to ensure that your permanent jewellery is the perfect custom fit and exactly how you want it. If you feel you will need a little extra time to select your chain, you are welcome to come early!

  • We are happy to accommodate 2 people for every bracelet appointment. If you are getting an ANKLET or NECKLACE, we suggest one person per appointment.

  • It is easy to remove your jewellery! Use a sharp pair of scissors and try to cut it on the small ring that connects the piece together. This will preserve the integrity of the chain and allow for easier re-zapping. We can also add a clasp. Contact us to have your jewellery re-welded or to have a clasp put on.

  • We travel often with our permanent jewellery, and we have never had a problem. Usually, delicate jewellery does not have to be removed for airport security.

    Consult your doctor if you will be required to remove your permanent jewellery during an procedure

    If your doctor requires you to remove permanent jewellery. please contact us. We can re-weld your piece or add a clasp at a later date.

  • Yes! Charms are a wonderful option! We have many gemstone, diamond and gold charms from which you can choose. You can always add a charm at a later date too!

  • Simply: Quality.

    We believe that solid gold and sterling silver stand the test of time. After all, it is permanent! We like to think of your permanent jewellery as a legacy piece. We do not want your skin or clothes discolouring and we want you to enjoy your piece for a long, long time.

  • Yes, we can add a clasp for a small fee.

  • YES! The Sparkle Bar is happy to help you to repurpose your jewellery and recycle your gold. We have a few requirements that you can read about here. The cost per item for this service is $50.

  • We carefully curate the latest styles and highest quality chains, clasps, charms and products in the market and only work with solid 14k carat gold and sterling silver. We quality check our material at every step of the process to ensure the final product meets our high standards.

    Permanent jewellery does not mean it is indestructible. Our jewellery can be delicate and should be managed as such. Please be mindful when removing other jewellery, cutting wristbands, removing long-sleeved shirts, coats, leggings, boots etc.

    Should our jewellery break, please contact us to determine how to best fix it. All re-welds are free. Simply book an appointment and we will refund your booking fee.

    If your piece is lost with 1 year of purchase, we are happy to extend a one-time 15% discount to replace it for the same of lesser value.

    Each piece is made-to-order by you at our studio or at a pop up by our qualified welders and all sales are final once the chain is cut.

    There are no refunds or exchanges.

  • No. Your jewellery has been custom fit for you. It’s permanent. :)

  • It is important that you read and understand the process of permanent jewellery before your appointment. When you book your appointment, you must agree and print your name to complete the booking.

    IN CONSIDERATION OF the risk of injury that can occur while participating in The Sparkle Bar YEG PERMANENT Jewellery services (hereinafter the "Activity"); and IN CONSIDERATION OF my desire to participate in said Activity and being given the right to participate in same;

    I HEREBY, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives (hereinafter collectively, "Releasor", "I" or "me", which terms shall also include Releasor's parents or guardian if Releasor is under 18 years of age), knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity; and

    I HEREBY release and forever discharge The Sparkle Bar YEG their affiliates, managers, owners, designers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns (collectively "The Sparkle Bar YEG"), from any physical or psychological injury that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity.

    I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE AFOREMENTIONED ACTIVITY AND I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY ENTIRELY AT MY OWN RISK. I AM AWARE OF THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY, WHICH MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: PHYSICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY, PAIN, VISION IMPAIRMENT OR EMOTIONAL LOSS. I ASSUME ALL RELATED RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN TO ME, OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY.

    I FURTHER AGREE to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Sparkle Bar YEG against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney's fees and any related costs.

    I confirm that I have made employees of The Sparkle Bar YEG aware of any allergies I may have that may affect my permanent jewelry wear.

    I understand not to look directly at the "spark" during the welding process. Doing so could severely affect my eyesight. I understand that any sudden movement could cause the welder to scratch or burn my skin. I acknowledge that I must sit still and not look directly at my permanent jewelry as it is being welded.

    I confirm that I am age 18 or older and am able to legally consent to participate in the Original Hardware Connected Permanent Jewelry Service.

    I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE that Releasees are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of Releasees.

    I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS "WAIVER AND RELEASE" AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE AND DISCHARGE THE SPARKLE BAR YEG AND ALL ITS AFFILIATES (MENTIONED ABOVE) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION AND I AGREE TO VOLUNTARILY GIVE UP OR WAIVE ANY RIGHT THAT I OTHERWISE HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE SPARKLE BAR YEG FOR PERSONAL INJURY.
